User Agreement and License

Thank you for using Atom's Connections. It was written to give families and
friends a private place of their own, and it is offered in that spirit.
Please read these few terms; they are short and plain on purpose.

1. YOU MAY USE IT, FREE OF CHARGE
   You may install and use Atom's Connections for personal, non-commercial
   purposes, on as many of your own devices as you like, at no cost.

2. YOU MAY SHARE IT WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
   You may give complete, unmodified copies of Atom's Connections (the
   original zip file or its unchanged contents) to family members and
   friends, free of charge. Please pass this agreement along with it.

3. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE IT
   The software must be used and shared exactly as it was released. You may
   not modify, alter, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or
   create derivative works from any part of it, including its code, design,
   artwork, and text. Keeping it unchanged is also what keeps it safe: it
   is what lets everyone trust that the copy they received is the real one.

4. PLEASE DON'T SELL IT
   You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise charge for
   Atom's Connections or access to it, bundle it with a paid product or
   service, or use it for any commercial purpose, without a separate
   written license from Adam S. Barnett. If you have a commercial idea in
   mind, please get in touch; a friendly conversation is all it takes to
   start.

5. OWNERSHIP
   Atom's Connections, its name, and all of its contents are the work and
   property of Adam S. Barnett and remain so. Nothing in this agreement
   gives you ownership of any part of it; it gives you permission to use
   and share it as described above.

6. YOUR DATA IS YOURS
   The software stores your posts, photos, messages, and keys only on your
   own device, encrypted, and sends them only to the people you have
   connected with. The author does not collect, receive, or have access to
   any of it.

7. NO WARRANTY
   Atom's Connections is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind,
   express or implied. It is a personal project shared in good faith; you
   use it at your own risk, and the author is not liable for any loss or
   damage arising from its use, including loss of data. Please keep backups.

8. ENDING THE AGREEMENT
   This permission ends automatically if you break any of these terms.
   Nothing else is required of you; simply stop using the software.
